杨州,1971年12月生,安徽蚌埠人,民盟盟员,博士,教授,博士生导师,水生生物学学位点负责人。1994年毕业于华中农业大学水产学院,获学士学位;1999年毕业于南京师范大学生命科学学院,获动物学硕士学位;2006年毕业于中科院南京地理与湖泊研究所,获自然地理学博士学位。2005年1月至3月赴奥地利科学院湖沼研究所进行国际合作研究;2009年1月至2010年1月获国家留学基金委资助赴英国利物浦大学生命科学学院进行学术访问与合作研究。总计发表SCI论文80多篇,其中第一作者及通讯作者60多篇。
