Scientific Expertise1) Validation of functional genes, genomics, and gene regulation in microbes for finding novel antimicrobial targets.2) Screening and identification novel mutated genes conferring azole resistance for clinic isolates of Aspergillusfumigatus.3) Set-up molecular and biochemistry techniques to understand the azole-resistance mechanism.4) Developing new antibiotics and alternative approaches to prevent resistant fungal pathogen in the immune-compromised host.

现任南京师范大学生命科学学院微生物研究所所长,博士生导师;江苏省微生物与功能基因组学重点实验室主任, 国家基金委会审二审专家,江苏省“六大人才高峰”第八批高层次人才,中国微生物学会真菌学专业委员会委员,国际丝状真菌专业杂志(Fungal Genetics & Biology)编辑部成员(Associate Editor), 国际微生物学杂志(Journal of Microbiology)编辑部成员(Editor),中国菌物学会理事以及医学真菌专业委员会委员,南京微生物学会理事长。以通讯作者身份在国际知名杂志发表系列论文。获江苏省科技进步奖、江苏省教学成果奖若干项。已有30名研究生毕业分配到高校和企事业单位,深得用人单位好评,近年有多名硕博研究生获得国家奖学金。
